I had the pleasure of visiting Merimaid House in Celestun with Sharonlee in March. If you are looking for an intimate, small group vacation or retreat in a beautiful home, on an amazing beach, with the best fresh, wholesome food prepared by an amazing chef this experience is for you. Talk about being pampered. Sharonlee has such great local contacts; she has done all the research and exploring and will share it all generously with you. We had yoga and massage offerings most days. The beach is full of shells and other natural treasures and very walkable and private. We made a labyrinth on the beach out of beach sponges & shells. I walked it most morning at sunrise or sunset. The surf is gentle and swimmable. Visiting the local fishing village is like stepping back into a simpler time. One of my favorite experiences was enjoying fish caught that day and prepared by our private Chef that night. Truly, I would recommend renting this house for your own group and enjoying the beauty of Celestun with Sharonlee over-seeing all the details either on-site or off. It a magical place. 🧜🏻‍♀️
